28.05.2026 20:21
On April 22, our school once again hosted a volleyball tournament, initiated by the Student Council and organized by the physical education teachers.
Students from various classes competed throughout the day to determine the winners. It was also the last opportunity for senior students to take part in school competitions before finishing their education.
The tournament became a great occasion for integration and spending time together. The podium was as follows:
1st place – 3e
2nd place – 3d3
3rd place – 4cd
We warmly congratulate all players and thank the Student Council and PE teachers for their commitment to organizing the event. We are already looking forward to future sporting initiatives!
Swiss Expedition – An Unforgettable Journey Full of Experiences
28.05.2026 20:20
Lucerne, Lausanne, Bern, Geneva, Chamonix, Montreux, Broc, the Rhine Falls with their impressive waterfalls, as well as Rottweil and Nuremberg — these are just some of the places visited by students from classes 2m and 3e during a remarkable school trip. Each destination impressed with its unique atmosphere: picturesque streets, numerous fountains, green meadows, and the majestic landscape of the Alps 🗻.
The itinerary was extremely rich and diverse. The students visited the famous Château de Chillon, learned about the history of sport at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and explored the world of science at the CERN research laboratory. An unforgettable experience was also the visit to the Mer de Glace glacier, which allowed them to feel the true power of nature.
There were also sweet highlights — participants visited the Cailler Chocolate Factory, where they learned the secrets behind producing one of Switzerland’s most famous treats 🙂.
The true “icing on the cake” was the ascent to Aiguille du Midi (3,842 m above sea level), offering breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif.
Full of impressions, new experiences, and beautiful memories, the students returned to school. The Swiss expedition has come to an end, but its unique atmosphere will remain in our memories for a long time 💪

28.05.2026 20:19
Today, on April 19, 2026, a unique figure skating gala and show took place at the Winter Stadium in Tychy, summarizing the 2025/2026 season. This annual event had a special character this year — it was organized to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the city and was held under the patronage of the President of Tychy, Maciej Gramatyka.
Nearly 200 participants performed on the ice, creating an exceptionally spectacular and emotional show. Among the performers were also our students — Marta Dawidowska, Małgorzata Łaskawska, Julia and Hanna Łaski, Maja Piechula, Maja Rybak, and Iga Piątkowska — as well as alumnae of the school: Marta Łaskawska, Maria Bernacka, and Agata Kubica.
During the performances of our students, they received strong support — teachers and parents were present in the stands, proudly cheering them on and keeping their fingers crossed for successful performances.
We warmly congratulate all participants on their wonderful performances, passion, and commitment. We wish them continued success and ongoing joy in developing their talents!
SUCCESS OF OUR TEAM IN THE “TURBOLANDESKUNDE – ÖSTERREICH!” COMPETITION
28.05.2026 20:18
On April 17, 2026, the Kruczkowski team traveled to Katowice to compete in the regional stage of the German language competition “Turbolandeskunde – Österreich,” organized by the Polish Association of Teachers of German.
As many as 56 schools from across the Silesian Voivodeship took part in the competition. Participants were required to demonstrate extensive knowledge about Austria — from geography, national symbols, and government structure, through history and famous figures, to traditions, cuisine, and cultural fun facts.
Our team prepared for the competition for an entire month, and their commitment and consistent work brought excellent results. The team, consisting of Julia Wyrwoł, Zuzanna Juraszek, and Przemysław Szczepaniak, won 2nd place in the regional stage 🥈
They were very close to qualifying for the national stage; however, outperforming 54 schools is still a tremendous achievement and a source of pride.
We warmly congratulate our students on this outstanding result! Für uns seid ihr die Besten! ❤️
MARTA DAWIDOWSKA – FINALIST OF THE 7TH NATIONAL COMPETITION “AUSCHWITZ AND THE PERCEPTION OF THE MODERN WORLD”
28.05.2026 20:17
On April 17, 2026, the final gala of the “Auschwitz and the Perception of the Modern World” competition took place at the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust in Oświęcim.
The competition is aimed at children and young people from all over Poland. Its purpose is to encourage reflection on how events from eighty years ago continue to shape the modern world. The competition is held in the following categories: visual arts, graphic design, photography, literature, and film.
Among this year’s finalists is Marta Dawidowska, a student of class 3m (IBDP 1), who won 1st place in the graphic design category. She titled her work “Who Are You Today?”
After the final gala, a special meeting took place with a Holocaust survivor, Ms. Zdzisława Włodarczyk, who was deported to Auschwitz concentration camp after the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944. She was 11 years old at the time. Her message to young people was: “Never again war and bad politics, in which there is hatred toward another human being with different views.”
It is worth noting that Marta Dawidowska is also a volunteer at the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau in Oświęcim.
We warmly congratulate Marta on her achievement!
