After returning from Oberhausen, our students and their teachers had the opportunity to meet with Maciej Gramatyka, Mayor of Tychy. The meeting was a chance to share some of their most memorable experiences from MULTI 2026, talk about the friendships they made and reflect on everyday life with their host families.
The students talked about meeting young people from different parts of the world, taking part in workshops and activities, going on trips together and, of course, communicating in foreign languages. They emphasised that the project allowed them not only to discover Oberhausen, but also to open up to other cultures, overcome language barriers and gain experiences that simply cannot be learned in a classroom.
This year marked the third time that young people from Tychy have taken part in the MULTI project. The meeting with the Mayor was therefore also an opportunity to look back on another edition of this unique international initiative and to share what the participants will carry with them for years to come – memories, new perspectives and friendships that reach far beyond borders.
