Mental Health Days at Our High School – Caring for Emotions and Relationships

      11.05.2026 11:51

From March 30 to April 1, our High School hosted Mental Health Days – three days full of inspiring meetings, workshops, and activities aimed at raising awareness of the importance of mental health care.

Students had the opportunity to meet experts, including a psychologist Ms. Lucyna Kubecko from the Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre in Tychy, during a lecture on emotions and stress.

A debate on crises also took place, featuring Ms. Bożena Pruś, the head of the Crisis Intervention Centre, and a psychologist Ms. Magdalena Wyrwa-Laskowska.

Mr. Szymon Górkiewicz conducted workshops on positive psychology, encouraging students to discover their own strengths and ways of coping with difficulties.

Valuable experiences also included interactive activities such as “Speed Dating with Mental Health” and “Sleep Day,” which showed how important it is to talk about well-being and to prioritize rest and recovery for mental health.

Mental Health Days were highlighted by the “Kruczek Live” concert, which not only delivered great emotions but also strengthened the school community, showing how music can help reduce stress and support a positive mindset.

We would like to thank all participants and experts for their active involvement and engagement – together we are building a school where mental health truly matters!

      Hi there!

This is the HealthTalk Science team.

We are taking part in the “Zwolnieni z Teorii” Olympiad, within which we are carrying out a social project.

Our goal is to raise awareness about scientific and medical misinformation by running a social media campaign and a series of educational and hands-on lectures.

The educational conference will take place on April 13–15, 2026 at our school.

Through our joint efforts, we want to show our peers how important it is to verify sources of medical and scientific information, and to pay close attention to misinformation and fake news on these topics circulating on the Internet.

We aim to turn theory into practice – through social campaigns, scientific lectures, and education in the fields of biology and chemistry.

We invite you to follow our social media channels:

      11.05.2026 11:37

Our school is once again joining the nationwide #KOMÓRKOMANIA campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the idea of bone marrow donation and saving lives.
📅 The campaign will take place on April 9–10
As part of the project, educational activities are organized at our school, during which students learn:
🧬 what bone marrow donation is,
🧬 who can become a donor,
🧬 what the registration and stem cell donation process looks like,
🧬 how valuable it is to help people suffering from blood cancers.
This is a unique initiative that not only broadens knowledge but, above all, raises awareness of the needs of others and shows how we can truly save someone’s life.
We encourage the entire school community to actively participate in the campaign and support this noble cause! ❤️
Together, we can save someone’s life!
