Festival of Science
On March 14 pre-IB students participated in the lecture given by professor Leszek Drong – Associate Dean for Research at Faculty of Humanities at University of Silesia in Katowice. The lecture focused on contemporary Irish literature, and more specifically on a new wave of Irish women writers. We hope it will be an inspiration for IB students to choose Irish literature for their academic writing in the future. The event was part of our school’s annual Festival of Science, combining academic lectures, workshops and presentations made by students on subjects ranging from Science to Humanities.
