      • Today, our school held a special farewell ceremony for the final-year students — an event full of emotion, reflections, and beautiful memories.
We were honored by the presence of distinguished guests: Mr. Deputy President Paweł Grosman, Ms. Barbara Konieczna – Deputy Chair of the Tychy City Council, Mr. Maciej Blada – City Councillor of Tychy, Ms. Ewa Szczypiór – President of the Tychy branch of the Polish Teachers’ Union (ZNP), and Ms. Barbara Sobczak – Head of the Organizational and Administrative Department of MCO in Tychy. The ceremony was also attended by the school administration, form tutors, teachers, parents, and this year’s graduates — the true heroes of the day.
On behalf of the President of Tychy, Maciej Gramatyka, congratulations and wishes for the graduates were delivered by Deputy President Paweł Grosman. Mr. Maciej Blada — an alumnus of our school — offered warm words of support, while Ms. Barbara Konieczna encouraged students to be brave in facing challenges and not to fear mistakes, as they are a natural part of growth. Ms. Ewa Szczypiór extended her best wishes to the students while also thanking teachers and school staff for their daily dedication and effort.
The Head, Joanna Wojtynek, highlighted the students’ outstanding academic and sporting achievements, as well as their involvement in activities such as volunteering for the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau. She proudly announced that the school’s alumni register already contains over 10,000 entries, and the last student to be entered this year was Amelia Zając.
During the ceremony, special distinctions were awarded — five students were entered into the School’s Golden Book for outstanding achievements: Tomasz Blacha, Marta Pilszek, Jakub Kudelski, Mariusz Grabowski, and Michał Natkaniec. Numerous book prizes and diplomas were also presented for academic, athletic, artistic, and social accomplishments, including involvement in the Kruczkowski Theatre and Arts Group, volunteering, participation in the school flag squad, competitions and olympiads, and organizing school events.
The Kruczek Artistic Group under the supervision of Ms. Anna Mirowska also performed during the ceremony, presenting “A Million Dreams,” creating a truly emotional atmosphere.
The Head extended special thanks to parents for their support and engagement in school life, including helping organize events such as the prom. Gratitude was also expressed to the class tutors of the graduating classes.
The outgoing Student Council President, Krzysztof Suchan, also addressed the audience, thanking the Head, teachers, parents, staff (especially our wonderful janitor - Krysia), classmates, and the city for fostering a supportive environment for learning and development.
After the presentation of certificates to seven classes, commemorative school badges, and graduation caps, the artistic part prepared by the graduates themselves took place. Performances included:
Marta Pilszek and Paulina Fyda – “Sailor Song” (Gigi Perez), accompanied by the school rock band (Michał Majchrzak, Krzysztof Wiśniewski, Tomasz Warzocha, Konrad Dawid)
Kasia Tokarska and Emilka Jamka – “Somewhere Only We Know” (Keane)
Finale: “We Are the Champions” (Queen) performed by Michał Majchrzak, Tomasz Warzocha, Krzysztof Wiśniewski, Konrad Dawid, and Melania Lowne-Hughes
The technical team played an invaluable role: Kuba Szwed, Bartosz Stroiński, Szymon Jędrzejak, and Paweł Czerwik. The photo coverage was prepared by Ola Kowalczyk, Tosia Wrońska, and Zuzia Letza. The ceremony was hosted by Karolina Giel, Patryk Gibała, and Janek Psiuk, in cooperation with Matylda Mikotowicz and Nadia Stabla.
At the end of the event, parents prepared a delicious reception, which was a warm conclusion to this special day.
We sincerely thank everyone involved in organizing this beautiful and moving ceremony. To this year’s graduates, we wish you the very best of luck in your exams and the fulfillment of all your dreams and future plans!
