On June 11, the ceremonial final of the second edition of the National ROAD2SUM Competition, organized by the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, took place.
We are delighted to announce that three third-year students — Weronika Kwaśnica (Class 3d3), Milena Szlag (Class 3d3), and Marta Dawidowska (Class 3m) — earned the title of laureates in the competition!
Weronika Kwaśnica won this year's edition, achieving a perfect score of 100%. As a result, she received the main prize — the Golden Index of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, guaranteeing her the opportunity to enroll in a degree program of her choice offered by the university.
Milena Szlag also achieved an outstanding result, scoring 97%. As a Competition Laureate, she will receive additional points in the admission process to the Medical University of Silesia.
Marta Dawidowska scored 87%.
After the official ceremony, the students took part in workshops where they had the opportunity to step into the role of medical professionals and try their hand at fields such as anesthesiology, cardiology, otolaryngology (ENT), surgical suturing, and other practical medical activities.
We warmly congratulate Weronika, Milena, and Marta on this remarkable achievement and wish them continued success in the future!
