Today, volunteers from Classes 1c and 1d2 of our high school, under the supervision of Joanna Gałka and Anna Kasprzak, took part in organizing the 28th Silesian Special Olympics Cross-Country Running Meeting – Tychy 2026.
From early morning, our students actively supported the event preparations. Their responsibilities included setting up sports equipment, assisting with the sound system and music arrangements, and distributing meals to participants. The volunteers also helped with race timing and ensured the smooth operation of the competition throughout the day.
One of the most meaningful aspects of their involvement was supporting the athletes directly—helping them prepare for their races, offering encouragement before the start, and accompanying them along the course.
The event was filled with excitement, sporting spirit, and mutual kindness. Once again, our students demonstrated their ability to engage in activities that require responsibility, empathy, and teamwork.
We are proud that the young people of our school represent our community through such meaningful initiatives and wholeheartedly support the athletes of the Special Olympics. ❤️
Their dedication and enthusiasm made a valuable contribution to the success of this special event and reflected the true spirit of volunteering and inclusion. 👏🌟
